CYCL offers afterschool chess programs at elementary schools primarily in
the Santa Clarita Valley. Students from Total Beginner through Advanced are
encouraged to enroll. Students work in kid-friendly lesson books that are
appropriate for that particular student’s level of chess knowledge and
understanding. Students also play casual games, use the laptops for instruction
and fun, create their own video chess lessons, and much more! For details on
